1945生于延安。
1965毕业于解放军艺术学院声乐系。
如果说音乐舞蹈让她展现自我的话，绘画则为她提供了另一种表达情感的方式。现在，作画已成为了她生活中不可分割的一部分。
钱铃戈的作品自然随性，更注重的是内心情感的表达。其作品中大胆的色彩运用，奔放的笔触，体现了她思想表达上的自由以及由心而发的激情。
